We all work hard to enjoy the finer things
in life. Picture yourself returning home from a hard day
at the office. You walk in, uncork your favourite bottle
and then things start to slide. You can't find the right
remote control, the DVD player won't talk to the new plasma
screen and you can't decide which CD to listen to. Life
shouldn't be this complicated. At GMT we believe that
technology, cutting edge as it maybe, is there to serve

the GMT way. You return from the office, uncork that bottle
and reach for a single, integrated sleek intelligent infra-red
remote and, at the press of a button, the lights in the
room adjust to reflect your mood and your preferred sounds
start radiating from the walls. Looking around there are
no ugly or intrusive black boxes on show, no distracting
lights or unsightly exposed wires, no clutter, no fuss
just an all encompassing experience. Yet hidden behind
those clean lines, lurks cutting-edge digital technology
that includes discreet in-wall and ceiling mounted speakers
driven by concealed electronics.
A while passes by and you decide to take a bath. As you walk upstairs, your mood changes. And so too can the sounds … merely by activating the remote another track or source can be selected to provide different sounds that envelop you in the bath.

But you also feel good as, undisturbed, you continue to listen to your relaxing choice of music in the bath.
The phone rings. Your friends are calling to confirm that you are still ok with them arriving at nine for drinks. But you don't miss the call and you haven't had to rush downstairs to turn the volume down as the system sensed the incoming call automatically and muted the music while you answered it.
Later, as you prepare some snacks in the kitchen, you wonder what the weather is going to be like as you are planning to go away to the coast for the weekend.
Using the same remote you check out the forecast on
the wall mounted LCD Flat panel screen.
You then use the remote again to select 'party-mode' and 'playlist 1'. Instantaneously, all the rooms in the house begin to play the same track and you are ready to receive your guests.
Shortly after, the music dims automatically again as the system senses the door bell ring. You invite your guests in and begin to catch-up on things..
Bob then asks whether you caught the midweek match and that spectacular goal. You tell him that
you managed to record the highlights on the DVD recorder but just haven't had time to watch it.
You then suggest that you both retire for a short while to the family room to replay the events while your partners finish watching the Robbie Williams concert on the plasma screen and home cinema in the lounge.
As you walk in the family room and sit down, one press of the button on the same remote causes the wall mounted motorised screen to automatically extend, window curtains to close, lights to dim, and the discreetly positioned ceiling-mounted projector kicks into life. The 7 foot wide screen makes it feel like you have front row seats!
